The Conversion
Inspired by: The Conversion of Paul the Apostle, as depicted in the Christian Bible, which refers to the event in the life of Paul of Tarsus which led him to cease persecuting early Christians and to himself become a follower of Jesus. The phrases Pauline conversion, Damascene conversion, and road to Damascus allude to this event.

From the Conversion of Paul, we get the metaphorical reference to the "Road to Damascus" that has come to refer to a sudden and/or radical conversion of thought or a change of heart or mind, even in matters outside of a Christian context. (wikipedia)

Our lives can't be summed up or explained in terms of one experience; however, we are each on our own road to Damascus. Don't waste the zeal of your dynamic personality, watch out for rocks in the road.

The Conversion is a collection of poetry, a video installation and a series of photography examining the internal battle many of us experience daily.
